This is the opening scene from the Orsen Welles movie, "A Touch of Evil." When I first saw the opening, I noticed how continuous the scene was, and found it so interesting how they were able to keep on tracking through the scene while staying on two of the characters. One in the car, and the couple walking down the street. Doing this type of shot makes you eager to see what's going to happen next. Is the bomb going off or, does someone get hurt? I think its a good way to start off a film. It keeps you guessing, and interested, and sets a nice mood to the film. It also gets straight to the point, and gives you an idea of what the film is going to be about.
